Color settings not applying

Hey all,

 

So what is happening is the color settings on my laptop won't stick, but when I change the brightness it'll change for a split second and revert back to being washed out(not set). 

 

No idea how or why...I used Msi true color before this happened. I was playing on a monitor for the last couple days and when I unplugged it, it's when it started happening.

 

Laptop: GS75 243
-I've used DDU to uninstall/install Intel and Nvidia drivers
-Uninstalled/reinstalled true color

Anyone have any idea?
