current monitor option is Asus VG248QG 24.0" if u have a better one u can recommend but ill probably make a post in display later

that monitor is 1080p 165hz

i want to buy it probably by january next year im upgrading from a cheap lenovo yoga laptop

Go for it if AOC C24G1 is more expensive than the Asus unit. Those 2 are a decent budget 1080p144hz Monitor (165Hz is just overclocked 144Hz and presents ghosting issues on some people.)

thanks for the help. for the monitor options is there a way i can fit a 1440p monitor into it without increasing the monitor price by more than 50$ usd
