MSI monitor part of screen is discoloured and flickering at 100Hz

So, I have a MSI Optix 34inch ultrawide and part of the screen shows a different colour and flickers constantly when at 100Hz. But there is no issue at 60Hz. I have attached some pictures of the problem.

Changing the cable didn't fix it. What could be the issue?

looks like a manufacturing defect

I would send it back and get a replacement
