Hi,

I have bought a new MSI B550m pro vdh wifi motherboard with AMD's new ryzen 5 5600g. The problem I have is it keeps rebooting. sometime it says into BIOS for couple of minutes then restarts. I flashed the latest bios(not beta) version but problem is still there. It's my first ever AMD build mind you, any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Agreed, could be a PSU, Motherboard, RAM issue, we wouldn't have any idea otherwise.

Yes you are right it could be anything. But I only have these components. I don't have any GPU to try out, no other ram.

I tried everything possibly which I can do. like update the bios, switched ram positions, re-install the CPU, loosen the screws on heatsink may it's too tight.

Unless you screw that heatsink into the motherboard and force it to crack the Board, then you know it's too tight, trust me you can't really over tighten them, the only issue I can think of would be you've overclocked before you did a standard install. Considering you have no GPU, you wouldn't need to upgrade that PSU. That Motherboard does support that model of CPU, so I honestly wouldn't know.

Ha!, it didn't give time to tinker anything, it restarts as soon I try to move mouse or go into advance mode. I even try to install windows. It keep restarting sometime clicking install button restart, sometimes go further like make partition then restart and go on and on and on.

Hello Muhammad, were you able to resolve this issue? I have the same symptoms (same MoBo + Ryzen 5600G). As soon as anything graphical is displayed on the screen the system goes into reboot cycle.
