Hi everyone,

I have a 3900XT and a Corsair H150i RGB Pro XT 360MM cooler (3 Corsair LL120 RGB Fans) and I'm looking for a good way to reduce temps while also maintaining performance. While gaming, temps are in the high 60s and low 70s (ambient temps are anywhere between 22-28 C). Idle temps are high 40s to mid 50s. I know these temps are generally okay, but I'd like to lower them because my room gets extremely hot during the summer. I also do have an RTX 3080, so that contributes to the heat but I have noticed even when playing light, non intense games, my CPU tends to warm up and I feel a lot of heat from the radiator.

I'm wondering if there's any way to undervolt without losing performance. I have seen people with 3900X's use a -500mV offset with no degradation, but my Cinebench scores drop down with even a -250mV offset. I'm also using PBO since it improves my clockspeeds and I did not see a temperature difference.

Any undervolt tips or other advice to cool my CPU down would be appreciated!

I know this idea has nothing to do with the PC it's self.... but can you get a window unit air conditioner? It'll probably help temps more than anything else and probably increase performance from the increased thermal headroom.

Yeah that's definitely something I've been considering. Thanks for the suggestion! Any ideas regarding the PC or CPU?

I would rather not put my PC in another room because I have a O11 Dynamic which is basically designed to be admired haha, but that's also something I'm considering.
