Nas with version controle for files

Hello,

 

i have a short question: does anyone know a possibilety to have version controle on a pi nas? i dont care if i have to use omv samba or idk. The closest solution i found is snapshot/shadow copie on samba or incremental backups, but both seems only be working on a scedual and not with editing as a trigger. A name what i'm looking for would be enougt, im not expecting a tutorial… .
