Dual PC setup troubleshoot

might have a really simple answer to this but i have setup my my dual pc so i can capture footage from the gaming pc on the streaming pc I am sure i have the cables setup right and set the elgato as the dupe screen but still nothing shows up on the other monitor any suggestions???

So how do you have the cables setup and what hardware (elgato) are you actually using?

What program are you using on the 2nd PC to record the screen capture? OBS? When you try to add the capture card as a source what happens?

Plug the monitor you use for gaming in to the HDMI out on the capture card. There should be a HDMI cable that goes from the gaming PC to the capture card in then a HDMI cable that goes from the capture card HDMI out to your monitor.
