Hello everyone!

New to the site and forum but I’m building my first PC for gaming and I have a build list but was wondering if I could get some advice. Trying to stay within a 800-900 budget.

Tower case: Corsair iCUE 220T

Motherboard: B550M PRO-VDH WiFi Proseries

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: RTX 2070

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM (two 8 gb sticks)

Power supply: Corsair CX Series 750 watt

Storage: WD_Black 1tb internal SSD (up to 3,470 mb/s)

Let me know whenever you can thank you so much! 😊

Im pretty sure this post belongs in the new builds and planning subforum but dont worry the mods will move it eventually, just gotta wait awhile

If that ram is vengeance lpx there are cheaper options available but its ok

If its rgb pro then its horribly overpriced and a cheaper alternative like tforce delta rgb is reccomended

I think you are best off with an igpu build based around a 5600g or a 5700g

Btw what are you gonna use this pc for?

What country do you come from?

Any extra needs (such as wifi)?

Any overclocking?

Sorry I thought it was in that forum, and yeah I’ll look into cheaper Ram I just know Corsair is a trusted company for parts. Mainly using this pc for gaming which included modern AAA titles and other games, maybe one day playing on twitch. I’m from the US and as far as WiFi is concerned the motherboard has wifi on it but for now it’s a starter motherboard. And I never understand the need for overclocking what does it do?

Maybe something like this?

You do want to overclock the igpu and ram for max performance, just search up some tutorials on yt

Not sure if the psu i picked is a dumpster fire or not so wait for someone to reply, if there are multiple replies and none mention the psu in this list as bad then should be ok i guess ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯

Do you have that 2070 already? The new amd apu:s are still quite horrible for aaa games. I would look for a pre-built with at least a 1660s.

Unfortunately no I don’t but overall it’ll be cheaper for me to build since I can buy the parts over time.
