No, don't do that. You only need to turn off the switch when you are working with the internals of the PC. They are not designed to be turned on and off frequently.

So once I went on vacation and let my pc in shutdown mode but when I came back the psu was broken so I went to a fix shop ect. now I turn the psu switch on the back always to off but is that necessary? 

another question, I want to move my monitors and pc to like 10 meters so I can clean my desk ect. do I need to put the psu switch into off mode or what do I do?
