Greetings community!

So I've noticed something to my internet this past few months, when ever I play Dota 2, and load a certain website... my ping will be berserk. From a stable 60-90ms, it will surge to 400-500, worse... 4k... making me not opening anything in my browser while on game.

I also checked the ping using cmd, pinging youtube it goes around 20-40ms, then I a website and then the ping goes 200+.

I don't think this is ISP related, since I always thought it was, making me switch to another ISP this last 3 days. Sadly, it is still the same.

Do you have a firewall installed? That could be trying to monitor the traffic thus causing latency issues. Only other thing I could think of trying is running the game or at least Steam as an administrator.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon, Good Luck!

Sadly, I'm not.. I also tried disabling my antivirus. Downloading something on torrent will raise my ping from 26-30 to 40-60, which is reasonably fine. But opening a website will make it 200-500. Sad :(

Maybe you should completely exit your torrent manager and close all browsers when playing. The torrents would definitely be the ones raising your ping. Could you do a speed test for me?

Yeah I dont download anything, and completely closing any program while im on game, just downloaded something to test how my ping goes.

This is my speedtest while downloading on a torrent. (1mbps plan)

Oh well, at this point I can't think of any way of 'fixing' your problem. The reason why your ping skyrockets is that your internet speeds are very slow, everything is fine. Its just that your internet is slow, so when you for example, load up LinusTechTips forum it uses a majority of your bandwidth within that second.

Hope you can find away, Good Luck!

Thanks anyway CaptRex!

It wasn't like this before, I could at least use facebook and open some wiki sites while on gaming without having any issues.

Packet loss,is  loss of data being sent over a network. Where are you from because one of them ips is said to be in china and its very werid how your being routed so much in the same subnet like you're at a campus or school.
