I will try that and update here after something happens. Thank you for your replies.

Underclocked my gpu to 1600mhz in msi afterburner and got it to work, still shows device not started in events tho.

GPU: 5600xt 6gb sapphire pulse

CPU: RYZEN 5600x

Motherboard: MSI b550m mortar wifi

BIOS Version: 8/31/2020

RAM: 16GB patriot viper 3200mhz

PSU: corsair 600 w

Case: lian li

Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 PRO 19042 64 bit

GPU Drivers: currently microsoft basic adapter

Chipset Drivers: AMD B550 CHIPSET DRIVERS VERSION 2.17.25.506

Background Applications: ISLC, SYNAPSE, riot vanguard, discord

All was fine until i updated my windows. I thought it corrupted my gpu driver so i reinstalled it. Whenever I play a game, its gonna open once then when i interact with it its gonna be "gpu drivers crashed, make sure drivers are up to date"

I have tried:

- rolling back to previous versions (21.3.1[It used to work until it didn't] and 21.4.1) and DDU'd my GPU(correctly). Also tried amd cleanup utility.

- replugging the pcie cable of the gpu

- reseating the gpu from the mobo

-changing the bios mode of the gpu (not updating it, because it already has the latest vbios)

Additional info: the debug light of my mobo shows that "DRAM-LED lit on: The RAM or CPU is not detected or fail or be incompatible with the motherboard. " which is correct because when I looked at the msi site I saw that my ram wasn't in the compatible rams list. I still haven't bought a replacement because even though I cant run it at 3200mhz (currently at 2133mhz, I know it sucks), I can still use my desktop and it is what matters to me. Also, I don't have money to buy new ram sticks yet xD but if the cause of the problem is really the ram, I can maybe order it asap.

Also my pc is a bit dusty.

The picture below shows what the current scenario in the events viewer:

mayby try going back to the older version of the windows?

I did a sys restore but it got my windows corrupted and had to reinstall. Also tried to uninstall the update but to no avail.

I am currently running the latest version of windows and the basic display adapter.

My gpu crashed after a windows update long ago, I fixed it by (I really cant remember) reseating the gpu, usding ddu and installing the drivers without the software.

Last week it crashed again, i tried using sys restore but it crashed my windows.

Now, ive tried the things ive listed above and am currently talking with the sapphire support.

I was thinking that too but im kind of scared really. The things that i havent done yet are the bios update, vbios reflash (?), and buying new rams.

Unfortunately, i think i cant get my ram until the 16th so my plan as of now is to clean my pc and reseat the gpu again and hope for the best.

If that still doesnt work I might update the bios. Fingers crossed i hope one of these things work and i dont have to rma it cause who knows when will they give me a new one during this pandemic.

nothing to be scred off.

you can update the bios without usb stick. just go to bios and flash the bios using internet or using msi dragon centre
