Please help!

I purchased a known working evga 1050 ti sc from a friend but cant get it working in my system. I have tried:

- deleting old graphics driver with ddu

- verifying bios are current

- verifying bios set to pcie1

- cleared cmos with pins

All I get is a blank screen (monitor turns off when no signal detected but it is on and has visible backlight, just blank) the fan does spin and there is no 6 pin input..

Specs:

Mb, Gigabyte ga-970a-ds3p

Cpu, amd fx 4350

Old gpu evga gtx 660

1tb samsung 980 storage and wb 512gb boot sad

700w power supply 

16gb ddr3 memory 

No  integrated graphics so i cant run anything without my old graphics card installed. thanks in advance

You are allowed to bump your existing thread once per day.

You should try making your thread title descriptive of your problem so someone with a solution has a better chance of finding it. Every day a dozen people post threads on LTT just called "help pls."
