What is a dual core processor good for ? How better is an i5-1135G7 with iris graphics than an i3-1115G4 ?

How does getting the former over the latter help me through my daily multitasking between browsing, gaming StarCraft2, coding, painting etc. ? How better is the i5 than the i3 above ?

Well the i5 does have better igpu and its a quad core so get that i guess

well the i5 you listed is about 40% faster in raw compute performance

Provided whatever tasks you are running support more than two cores it should be significantly better.
