Upgrading a case

So I just need a little help I have the msi infinite s 10th and Im wondering if I could put all my hardware into a bigger case or do I need to buy something extra

As far as I’m aware the SFF infinites are entirely proprietary, somewhere between inverted mini ITX and BTX

There won’t be any cases out there designed for that hardware, the psu is mostly proprietary as well.

 

You could reuse the drives, cpu and gpu without any issue. The ram is SODIMMs not DIMMs and the cooler even is a tiny blower meant for super compact cases.


You’d be looking at probably more than a few hundred bucks for a new 10th gen 400 series motherboard, 16gb of desktop DIMM ram, a case, power supply and cooler.

ATX - nzxt 510 (its a really good case)
microATX - silverstone ps15

ITX - Silverstone SG13WB

Its a really good case for setting your pc on fire thats for sure

 

Good god that case has no airflow, if you wanna have clean looks but decent airflow go for a pure base 500 or neo silent

i know someone who has been using it for 2 years and nothing happened. it depends on how u take care plus u can also add cooling fans.
