hi

I am new here so forgive me if am in the wrond section or ask some preovious qustions ...
I have high end pc , and i'm looking to buy a router to complete the setup ,

i've searched for best gaming routers and i found that focous on keeping gaming smooth under multi-devices heavy load
and give gaming devices priority or give the gamer better wifi conniction (if not connected to lan) or help the with monitoring the connection and the ping etc

meanwhile i am a simple man , am living alone , have one device (pc) and it connected via ethernet

now come the question , in my case what the difference between the gaming routers for me , can they give for better routing or reduce ping and improve connection stability  ?

i dont mind if the answer contain other ways toimprove the connection experience rather than new router (may Linus make a video about this , omen)

Gaming routers are FUD, nothing more. They CANNOT improve your ping or anything beyond the local network, no matter what their marketing says. Unless you're bandwidth is completely saturated and you can't be bothered to configure QoS on your own, gaming routers are useless and over-hyped junk.

Totally. Anything you can do with a "gaming" router, you can do with any properly configured router. It's all marketing.
