On the site of the motherboard Ryzen 5000 is listed as compatible. Even if that wasn't true, It still can flash new bios without a CPU.

Yes, it is compatible.  But which Ryzen series are compatible depend on the BIOS version.

 

If you can flash without a CPU, then you should be okay
