Hello,

Good day, I do have questions that you guys can only help regarding RAM.

1. Can you mix 8gb RAM with 16gb RAM in dual channel?

2. If you can, how it will affect my PC if they have different MHZ?

3. What will be the outcome regarding MHZ will they be added together, will use only the fastest, will use only the slowest?

4. If above are possible, can you add another RAM for the third time with 4gb RAM?

5. If possibe, 3 RAMS with different GB and MHZ, what will be the outcome for my PC?

Thank you in advance for the answers.

Regards,

Jacob

All RAM will have to run at slowest speed.

But the only way to know for sure if it will work at all is testing.

I did move one stick from one old computer into a different old computer, but both were 4GB sticks...

I upgraded one of them to 16GB, and at the same time got lucky upgrade for other PC  to 8 GB.
