Watercooling is not neccesary, a cheaper air cooler like the fuma 2 will perform just as well

Well atleast if you are overpaying for rgb you are also getting cl16 unlike some other rgb ram (looking at you corsair rgb pro and trident z rgb), though id suggest a cheaper alternative

Get a silicon power a80 as it also has dram cache but its cheaper

Upgrade the psu to an 850w for futureproofing

sure! also, is CL18 similar in performance to CL16? btw, the a80 is out of stock for me, but the sn750 is the cheapest nvme ssd available so...

this looks great, but i don't think i will be able to get the 3080 at msrp at all 'cause even local stores are selling them at 2x msrp, newegg is at 1.5x msrp minimum, and the cs3030 is a lottery at best (trust me, i own one) and 16gb of ram is not enough. I almost always hit the pagefile with 16GB of ram, since i have discord, chrome, obs and a game open all at once and overwhelms my system pretty easily.

Maybe something like this?

Gpu is up to you but you have about 700$ to spare for one

Its a decently balanced build which is obv not focused on overclocking, though i guess you could turn on pbo and have it auto oc your cpu

And yea i chose a cleaner looking case that has decent airflow since the case you chose looks as bad as the h510 and holy crap that case is a literal dumpster fire, btw the case i chose is one of cheapest cases that has decent airflow atm

Oh, if you're using a lot of background task while gaming, consider getting an 8-core CPU. This should improve general smoothness of games. Somerandomtechyboi gives a good AMD option. Here's an intel option:

Motherboard: MSI MAG Z490 TOMAHAWK ATX LGA1200 Motherboard  ($189.99 @ Walmart)
