What speeds and timings are you comparing

It should still work, and you would have dual channel until you went over 16GB but if you never go over 16GB it might not be worth it.

I recently replaced the 16 gigabytes of single-channel sodimm memory with a 32 gig stick. Now I had the Idea of putting that into my second laptop. But that one has two 8 gig sticks with slightly faster speeds but higher timings. Would it cause problems if I replaced one 8 gig stick with the 16 gig stick of my other laptop? Because it is dual channel and would it still work with two RAM sticks with different capacities?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The one to replace is 2933 MHZ CL22 and the replacing one is 2666 CL 19 I think. It was just an Idea but if you say it's not worth it, I'll scrap that Idea
