What should I do?

Incidious134

I was recently able to get my hands on a 3070 (yay!) from the newegg shuffle and i don't think my current powersupply will be sufficient (500w)

while i do plan on getting a new powersupply later in the year when it can fit my budget i do have another 500w laying around and i wonder is it worth it to short the pins so i can run the gpu off of the one psu by itself. Is it worth it do you think?

specs are here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7cWz4d

notes on the build I am using the wraith max stock amd cooler
