Hey,

So the fan on the chipset on my Asrock Extreme 4 MB started to make constant loud noises. I wrote Asrock and they shipped me a replacement fan for free. Had it within 3 days, very good service i must say.

I have installed the the new fan, it does spin up when my PC boots but then it stops and never starts spinning again no matter what temp. of the chipset (currently the Temp. shows 79c and the fan are not moving)

What the fan does do is its making small movements, like a second hand on a watch, every 5 seconds or so

I have removed and reinstalled it, making sure it is connected to the header correctly

Any other suggestions? Or am i facing are more serious issue perhaps?

Thank you,

BrianJ
