768p Blurry screen

Just bought a new laptop from Dell with geforce mx450. Didn't realised the main resolution was 1366x768. I don't know if the problem is the low resolution or if i have a faulty screen, but small icons and letters are almost very hard to distinguish or read. Do you think this is because of the low resolution or should i return the laptop?

Both. It's a thing that people are complaining about the low pixel density of the Switch OLED with a 7" 720p screen. 720p on a 13-15" (you didn't specify) is stupidly bad. The pixel density is far too low. I can't believe they're even making laptops with screens like that any more.

I agree, my 768p screen is 15 inches but it's very frustrating not being able to read small letters or distinguish small icons. I'll return this laptop tomorrow. Do you think if i get a 1080p is going to be enough?

It'll be roughly twice as pixel dense, so it'll look much sharper, in comparison. The ideal for a 15" is a vertical resolution somewhere in the 1200-1600 range, but 1080 should be passable.
