Hello all,

I have been wanting to make a switch to Linux for some time now but there are a few issues from stopping me.

I have corsair hydro series h100i that i have no idea how to control in Linux (no app that i know of to do that )

I have a Logitech MX anywhere 3  (same problem as above)

I have a Dell S3220DGF monitor that has free sync (how do i enable that on Linux?)

Many videos are on YouTube including from Linus Tech Tips, but and they all mention that its easy to get into Linux and also game I am sure it is... BUT...

It's no longer easy if i can't actually configure my peripherals.

i'm afraid that for your corsair aio and the logitech mouse you are out of luck. sadly linux support on those is entirely up to the manufacturer.

AMD has a guide to enable freesync on linux here:

I may be old and outdated, but why do you need an app for a mouse and/or AIO?

If it's RGB I'd just try OpenRGB (you can also do this before switching, it's available in Windows). It works on my MSI mobo headers, MSI GPU and Logitech G Pro Wireless.

If you want to control the fans/pump, I'd use BIOS for that before I even consider an app. Reliability and such.

FreeSync works fine on my NVIDIA card->Acer monitor, "G-SYNC compatible" in the panel, same as Windows. Don't have AMD to check (I wanted to, but an 6800XT still costs over $2000 here, so maybe next gen).

Checkout LiquidCtl, it has support for the H100i. It is however CLI based and offers no Graphical Interface

That mouse should work. Does it have one of the unifying receivers? You might need Solaar if so, it has a graphical interface.

Additional configuration may also be possible with piper (libratbag)

Checkout this Wiki Article, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Variable_refresh_rate

You will also need to be sure you are using a Xorg Session and not Wayland.

There is no official support, but there is unofficial support.

Thank you for the input... I will definitely give it a go

I need an app for the AIO because this one does not show up in bios (the pump) it has it's own controller and is not visible in bios I can set it in windows but if i need to adjust something later it can not be done trough the bios
