Oky so I have an i5 4460 with stock cooler a gtx 960 4gb from msi with 2 fans . All on a h97 gaming 3 msi motherboard with a hyperx 8 gb ( single ddr3 ram ) and a cx500 psu . I built the computer my self about 6 years ago and I’m using it with 2 monitors . Sometimes the computer just crashs and then when it restarts it stops posting on the screens . I figured out that by taking off the ram and putting it in an other ram slot the computer finally manages to start after about 3-10 tries of changing the slot . And then today wich is a few months later I got something rly weird while changing the screen resolution . So my question is . What could be causing these problems ? Cuz im a temp maniac and my computer never goes over 70degrees Celsius and what the heck is going on with the ram thing . Could it be my graphics card giving its last breaths ? Or my ram that isn’t that good ?
