Help Please

Hey guys, I'm the owner of a Thermaltake Shock one gaming headset, like the one Linus recently unboxed.

 

It was working fine for a long time, everything was solid and working great, then one day my mic stopped working.  Just the microphone is dead.  I wiggle the wired connection back and forth a few different directions and it would slightly come back in, but would be choppy.  It's for some reason busted.  The audio comes in fine in both ears still, but the microphone is kaput.  It's been like this for a few months now, and it's beginning to be a nuisance to have a mic anymore... :(

 

Any ideas as to why this has happened, and a way to fix this? I've already opened up the ear cup, and there's no broken wires or anything, so that's fine.  What can I do to fix this?

Yeah, this would probably be the best option. Obviously, something is very wrong with the headset, and I would recomend you get a replacement or a new one entirely.

 

Sorry I couldn't be of much help with this one. I am not an expert when it comes to the internal workings of a headset.

How would I go about getting an RMA? This headset was a gift from a friend, and I don't know if I have the warranty stuff for it
