I need help decided what to do. I just upgraded my GPU and RAM, but I feel like I need to upgrade my CPU aswell.. feel free to say anything that would help or even if I dont need to upgrade.

                                Components

Case: Corsair iCUE 4000X Mid Tower

MotherBoard: ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING

CPU: I7-10700 2.9 GHz (Corsair iCUE H100i Elite Capellix AIO)

RAM: VENGEANCE LPX 32GB ( 2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz (Currently running at 2666 MHz...(Look Below))

GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 2X OC Gaming, 8GB GDDR6

PSU: NZXT C850 Fully Modular

Monitors: (Main) AOC 27 27" 144Hz 1080p 1ms Responce Time with Nvidia G-Sync | (Secondary) Z-Edge 27" 1080p 75Hz 5ms Responce Time

Notice how my CPU is not overclockable, I tried installing the RAM at 3200 MHz but it kept blue screening due to "Memory Management" and I believe it was due to my CPU being locked. (If you have a answer, reach out and help)

I looked it up for my motherboard and everthing after 2666MHz it had "(OC)" next to the MHz.. does this mean I need a Overclockable CPU in order to raise the MHz of the RAM?

Also, do you think i should upgrade CPU's, If so do i go simpily i7-10700k OR do i just say screw it and go for a i9?

XMP can be enabled without a K-series CPU, so your 10700 should be able to get to those 3200MHz speeds without an overclockable processor. What was the specific BSoD reason? should be something more than just "Memory Management"

My profile picure is real. That's what I look like in real life. I'm actually a blue and white African Wild Dog.

I never got that far into it.. I kept hetting a blue screen Error Code of MemoryManagement, So i turned the XMP settings off and no moe crashes.. I looked into the Memory Clock setting and lowered it to 2666MHz

If you look on this website: https://www.cnet.com/products/asus-rog-strix-z490-e-gaming-motherboard-atx-lga1200-socket-z490/

It lists the MHz compatability and after 2666 they have a (OC)
