i set my maximum processor state at 99% instead of 100%. it makes my 5800x run at 3.725 ghz instead of the normal 4.5-4.8 while gaming. this seems to have fixed my issue where my gpu power drops in many games and my fps does also. why is that? i tried days gone i noticed it did drop frames sometimes even with 99% processor state and my coreclock would drop also but my gpu power remains constant

Seems like you have a crap psu

Rma your psu, it may be bad

Cause if cpu power decreases and gpu power goes back to normal then thats most likely a dying psu

also one more thing. i tried setting my cpu ratio to 4.2 on bios and it also still works fine with no gpu power drops
