Upgrade reccomendation

Go to solution Solved by Jonathan Lee,

Is this the correct model you have?

If so I think, you can only use a 3060TI. 3070's needs 2 8-pin PCIE to run. Since you're sticking to 1080p the 3060TI should be fine for a bit.

Budget (including currency): 1000 euros

Country: Serbia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Battlefield, modded minecraft and kerbal space program, light recording

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

motherboard: B365M H (rev. 1.0)

cpu: intel core i5 9400

gpu: gtx 1650

memory: 16GB 2666

psu* : lc-power 600 watts

I was thinking about upgrading the cpu to a core i9 9900, adding 16GB more and the gpu to either rtx 3060 ti or 3070 (if I find good deals on the gpu), pretty sure there is a better upgrade path but I dont know about it, i have a 144hz 1080p monitor and thinking about a second monitor

I dont mind replacing the psu as well

What's your power supply? That might limit which GPU you should get. Do you plan to stick to 1080p gaming? If so you're probably good with the RTX 3060TI for now, but if the price diff is less than ~100 euros might be better to get the higher end card.

I forgot to add the psu description, and yes I do plan to stick to 1080p
