Coolant to processor temp difference?

I recently bout a Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler for my PC and noticed theres a bout a 10 degree difference between the processor and coolant temp is that normal?

From boot? Very normal, it takes a while for watercooler and the CPU to reach equilibrium.

Yes. Totally normal. The coolant shouldn't actually even be close to the same temperature except when idle. If it actually did get as hot as the CPU, not only would the effectiveness basically go to nil, but it'd likely explode from the pressure buildup inside caused by boiling.

I've no idea what's the adequate dT, but you need a temperature gradient for heat to move, so yea
