Mic problen

Hello LTT forums! So I recently was deleting my microphone device which is a neewer-800 with the phantom power box but when I deleted the device and restarted my computer my mic had really strong static noise which it didn't have before deleting the device so if anyone knows how to get rid of the static please help.
