144hz 1080p

What is the cheapest/oldest graphics card that can support 1080p 144hz I just want it to output to a second display without the second display using my main gpu if that is even possible

probably something from the 2012-14 era. Gtx 5 or 6 series maybe. Going back any farther and i'm not sure if gpu's support 1080 at 144 as a possible display mode via older standard of dvi and hdmi.

your main gpu doesn't have problem outputing multiple 2d screens so there wouldnt be any reason for your proposed configuration.
