Fan headers

Does anyone know how many fans I can put on my ASUS Z170-P excluding the CPU fan, and whether I cant put 2 CPU fans without taking up extra headers?

The manual says two fans other than the CPU fans. You can buy adapters that would allow you to run two fans off of the CPU header

I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo. without any adapters or anything will I be able to use both CPU fans and another 2 regardless?

Yeah, you can use all the fan headers on a motherboard at the same time with no issues. One of these adapters would allow you control the fans to be in sync without much effort. 

 

Also, I was looking at photos of the motherboard, and I was only able to find two fan headers, including the CPU fan, so you might need to buy one of these adapters anyway.

Are you sure? In my BIOS I can see the CPU one and another 2 that are currently not working

I could be wrong, it's very possible I am, but I've been struggling to find where that third header is. If it's showing up in BIOS, it's probably there and I'm just blind

ok so using adapters will allow me to fit up to 4 regular fans + the CPU cooler?

Exactly. You can even find 3 to 1 adapters so you can use 6 fans plus the CPU fan

ok ty , and I just checked the full manual it says the second header is below the CPU and a little bit to the left
