So my understanding that turning on TPM (or fTPM on my case) and Secure Boot is required to install Windows 11 (or at least get the Insider Program thing to recognize it). However, is Secure Boot still required after Windows 11 is installed? I just have this backup software that runs on a bootable USB (from OriginPC that still works on any PC yay) that I use to make an archived clone of my entire SSD of the OS for me to reload if something fucks up. Said bootable USB program doesn’t work when Secure Boot is enabled (or CSM disabled perhaps) so I have to turn it off if I want to use it and make a backup. I figured since its just annoying to load-reload BIOS profiles / change settings I wonder if I can turn Secure Boot off again after I install Windows 11.

Also when is Win11 coming to the Beta Channel? I’d rather not run the Dev channel on my system.

you need CSM off to install and use Windows 11
