Hi, so I fixed my problem of not getting a display on my monitor with my new build.

Specs:

Asus B560f mobo

RTX 3060

RM850x PSU

i7 - 10700KF cpu

RAM: 4x8gb Trident Z (F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR)

Lian li fans and Lian li water cooler

I can get the computer to boot and run perfectly fine is only 1 ram in the 2nd slot. however when I put in another ram in the 4th slot I get D-RAM QLED showing on the motherboard and the pc will boot up but no display on the monitor.

Each stick works perfectly fine in slot 2, the pc will boot and run. I even got the PC too boot and run with 1 ram in the 1st slot.

I also enabled X.M.P in the bios and tried to run with another stick, but the D-RAM LEDs show up and I don't get a display on the monitor.

I also took the same brand ram sticks from another PC I had and it does the exact same thing.

EDIT: when I stick all 4 ram sticks in I get the DRAM LED and no display with and without X.M.P enabled

what do you mean slot 2? from which side are you counting from.

99% ram should be in a2 and b2 slots.

slot 2 from the CPU side and slot 4

if your have trouble with that you can slot 1 and 3 coming from the CPU.

also start with xmp off

I have also found that motherboards with locking tabs on only one side can be finicky to get ram  aligned  and seated properly  sometimes.

my known good 4x kit on my known z170 mobo took me like 8 hrs one day of just taking them out and put them in. not a typical case tho.

Page 1-5.

- A2 slot will allow the PC to boot and run fine with a single RAM stick

- A1 slot will allow the PC to boot and run fine with a single RAM stick

- with a single ram stick in B1 slot causes D-RAM LED to be solid orange.

- with a single ram stick in B2 slot causes D-RAM LED to be solid orange.

Just discovered PC will boot and run fine with 2 sticks in slots A1 and A2

Could be a damaged pin the CPU socket, which is used by the memory controller.

possible..... mounting pressure might pressure of the CPU might be an issue. too light, too tight or uneven.

I unseated the CPU and noticed that a single pin was snapped on the motherboard, which was weird because I'm still unable to find the snapped off piece....
