Hi all,

is it better to have xhci hand off disabled or enabled on bios?

Did a quick little google and i found this on another forum:

Googling about it, I came to understanding that said setting determines who handles said USB ports.

Disabled, BIOS has control and OS has no say in the matter.
Enabled, BIOS lets operating system to handle and control said ports.

So id say keep it enabled for best support for all your USB devices.

Hey thanks for the reply. I’ve seen mixed opinions on it but general consensus is to keep it enabled. Thanks!

Do you know of any bios settings recommended for Ryzen or is it best to leave it all default? Just put together my new pc so hoping I can have some advice.

Uhm not really. I personally just leave most things untouched. One thing you SHOULD check is your ram. Just to make sure its running at the right speeds etc.
