Here are the parts im thinking of getting. Would like some tips/thoughts before buying anything.

Only thing I would do differently would be to spend a little bit extra on the case and get something like the P300a. For your first build, it is a worthwhile investment to go for a better, easy to build in case. Cheaper cases, like the Fractal Focus G Mini, usually have a lot of weird quirks that can stumble up new builders, sometimes leading you to have to redo some parts multiple times. That is one of the better cheap cases, but the P300a for $20 more is a lot better and worth every penny. Otherwise it's a pretty fine build, and should be a pretty good pairing of parts. As for tips, take your time and have fun.
