First PC Build

Hello to whoever reading, I’m brand new to this forum and still learning my way around pc’s but have a semi-decent overall understanding, I am making an upgrade from my old system with half the parts coming later this week, i3-10105f, b460 mobo, 550w 80+ bronze psu and the case, I’m eager to build this as it will be my first although the ram/ nvme will not get shipped until the following week, I want to piece what I can together when I get it, I understand the pc won’t boot without ram or the nvme however will I be able to get any results without to see if the cpu and power supply are working until the ram comes in? 
 

Apologies in advance I’m just eager to build and get it right as I’m still learning connections and what cables go where e.g power cables connecting to mobo from the case, any help would be appreciated
