PowerPoint text color

Hi ,

I have a text box (the text color is white) behind it is a black strip of paint sometimes the word go off it and as they are white they dissolve into the background (its not always the whole letter) is there a way for it to invert what is behind it?

PowerPoint really isn't all that well suited for stuff like that. If you're really intent on doing that, you should probably prepare this stuff in something like Photoshop or GIMP, where you can work with layers and masks and import the image into PowerPoint afterward (make sure to export high resolution images if you want to go down this path, so the presentation scales up well to 4K monitors/projectors). But honestly, you probably shouldn't even do something like that. The visual component of a presentation should always be as simple and streamlined as possible. You want your audience to retain what you're talking about, not be distracted by the visual design of your presentation. Especially not by text that's harder to read than strictly necessary.

Like @Avocado Diaboli mentioned, not sure that you should do that, stuff like that can get your attention away from the point of the presentation and people tend to focus on irrelevant stuff, like why is that letter not centred or like the rest of the slides etc... 

 

Something clean as a background is a must for any serious PP presentation, if you are doing this for school add something unique in the corner or something that will add your touch.
