GPU problem

Basically if the power cables are connected to my gpu my pc will not start at all. When I unplug the gpu power cables my pc turns on. The fans will spin and the ram lights turn on as well. Does this mean my gpu went bad and I need a new one?

Could also becasue the PSU is underpowered. Plug in your gpu in a different computer and try it would be my adivce.

The thing is I have been using the power supply for around 5 months now. It’s a 650 watt one. Also I am only powering a Ryzen 5 3600 and rx580 8gb.

Then yeah, your gpu could be the problem.
