Hello everybody, I need advice:

I want to use one PC for two specific uses. And two make it even more difficult, I want to use it in two different places: in my living room for gaming and in my music room for - well music.

To keep it more quiet, it would be great to have the pc standing in an other room than the music room.

Is it possible to link the pc to the two places (1 Appartment tho), so I can use it from both? I would need to be able to turn it on from each of the two rooms and also use 3 to 4 Monitors, 2 for Music and 1 to 2 for Gaming and stuff.

Also the peripherals would need to be connected to the the pc in some way.

Is this a good idea? Is it executeable? Is it worth it? Is the easiest way really two PCs?

There are some mainboards that have a thunderbolt out that you can connect to 1 TB-dock in each of your rooms. Linus did something similar in this video:

Not sure how many monitors you can run off each TB connection, and if there are any problems with having multiple TB-docks connected at once, but in the worst case you would have to switch the cables every time you want to switch the room.
