Good thermals?

The memory temperature is just the peak temperature. Especially with air cooling, temperatures will spike quite high but then calm down as the heat is dispersed away from the card. It's a completely normal thing.

 

Your temperatures are quite good. My GTX 980 Ti likes to sit around 15 degrees higher, and it has a very beefy air cooler on it.

i ran a superposition 4k optimized test on msi gaming x trio 3080 @ stock

you can see  the vram reached 90.
