I have been panic moving files from my external HDD due to it failing after only 2 years of use. I've moved over 400GB of files, but then I closed the moving window like an idiot, but the files that haven't been moved we're still there, until I pressed Ctrl + X to move the rest of the files. After pressing it, the files just disappeared, and after pressing Ctrl + V it gave me an error that the files don't exist. I can see that the partition is still 1/4 full, but it won't show me the files. Is there any solution, or any program that could see these "hidden but not actually hidden" files?
