Laptop Screen Upgrade- Help please

DustinTrombone

So I have a question but I really don't know what i'm doing or what to look for, I have a HP Pavilion 15 DK, it came with a 1080p-60htz screen, is there any screen on the market that can run 1080-120/144 that i can upgrade it with, from my understanding it has to be a 30 pin edp but i have no idea where to look to find out information, if someone could tell me what i can do, or point me to a site for an upgrade screen, that would be cool. its a 15.6 inch

Why not just go for external monitor?

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VG279Q-Monitor-FreeSync-Adaptive/dp/B07KXHTRT5/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?

It's certainly easier and less hassle than changing your internal display

Also it's mentioned "replacement" Which mean it would work assuming it was the panel it replace was also same as that one...

I have a main gaming pc with a high refresh rate display, but for gaming on the go I like the convenience of a laptop, i only want to do it to maintain portability. It just seems the 144 "replacement" has a different connector (40 pin egp) and my current one, the 60 hz has a 30 pinegp.
