Hello!

I have recently ordered the Hyper X Fury  2x8gb 3200mhz ram kit. I just ordered it since it was in my price range, not knowing that there's a chance for it to not be compatible. I have read online that people were having issues with similar setups, so here I am asking if I'd run into any problems. Any help is much appreciated.

My setup:

  • Asus B450-Plus Motherboard
  • Ryzen 5 2600
  • 500gb Corsair M.2
  • RX 580 8gb GPU
  • 700w Gold certificated PSU from BeQuiet

It's supported according to the Asus site. I have this kit myself too and it's great, also overclocks very well 😄

Thanks for the info, I'm very relieved!
Also, how fast did you overclock your ram to? And what are the benefits? (FPS wise)

Got it down from 3200mhz 16-18-18-36 to 12-13-13-28. My motherboard doesn't support above 3200mhz so I can't try that, but it gave me about 10% better performance. Of course it's different for every kit how well it OCs, so your results might be better or worse. I also have the RGB version, not sure if it makes any difference.

This doesn't seem like it's remotely the same question.

You would be better off to start a new thread where you explain your question in detail rather than hijack someone else's.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
