Monitor Sharpness [AOC 24G2]

AdamTheNiceMemeMan

Hello, i'm going to purchase a computer Monitor very soon (product name on the title), and i have some confusion about Monitor Sharpness.

I've Googled MS G241, in their Monitor Menu there's an Option for Monitor Sharpness (Below Brightness and Contrast), but there's a topic that also said

"I cannot adjust sharpness on my monitor"

https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/i-cant-adjust-sharpness-on-my-monitor.3160650/

the answer was
"Nope. If DP input doesn't have configurable sharpness option, then changing VGA input sharpness will have no impact on DP input."
So if i use certain Input Types, it will disable Sharpness option? Lets say DP will disable sharpness option, while HDMI will have the option available to tweak

Thank you!

In reality it shouldn't matter at all. If there is a sharpness option, i'd always leave it as-is. Otherwise you'll either get something that is oversharpened or blurry.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
