Hey,

I'm looking to buy a USB type A or type C dock (if you can call it that)  for my desktop so I have some handy ports under my monitors since they are vesa mounted there is a bit of space under them.  I don't want anything that's really loose and just hanging around. Looking for more of a decent sized block that really wont move too easily, what im looking for probably needs to be more custom made has anyone "made" or purchased a "horizontal dock" that supports at least 3 "5.25 inch drives? I know it will need external power if so,  My PC case doesnt support 5.25 slots, and its just been a mess having multiple things laying around, such as a DVD drive, HDD hotswap bay, and little dongle for SD cards and extra USB ports for easy reach etc.

Ik its a really strange request and possibly stupid i dont know how else to explain it

-Sorry if this is the wrong section

I don't think there's such thing as external 3 5.25 bay horizontal dock, but there's a single bay 5.25 inch drive bay available. It uses SATA interface for the drive and connects to USB 3.0 to the computer. Link: Amazon.com: OWC Mercury Pro 5.25" Optical Drive External Enclosure (NO Drive): Computers & Accessories

As for docks... I'm not sure what you really need, but you can check UGreen store from Amazon. They have some USB-C docks that are quite nice so maybe some will fancy your interest? Links:

Do note that their cable is short so you might need to buy cable extension so you can connect it to your PC.

I think some USB-C Hub offered by UGreen has built in SD Card reader and USB 3.0 hub.

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.
