Webcam blacking out

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

try uninstalling it from device manager

Thanks for reading

I have a C920HD webcam and am running Windows 10.

After some years of running just fine when I bring this up in Camera it now runs fine for about a second and brings on the cameras blue activity light. The image then stalls, the light goes out and the image goes black. A few seconds later the cycle starts again. Tryed the webcam on my other computor and no problems.

Intresting thing is that the camera program now shows that there is a second camera attached to the computor and if I hit the button to switch I get a black screen and eventualy the error "Can't start your camera   If you're sure that the camera is connected and installed propery, try checking for updated drivers.   If you need it here is the error code:  0xA00F4241<CameraSwitchFailed> (0x800706BE)"

Updated the drivers and no joy, also tryed to fiddle with the settings and try'ed switching off all the progranms at startup. Still no joy.

Ow ye and I have restarted a few times.

Any one got any ideas
