Need urgently help please! Can't connect to Public Wifi at our AirBnB.

Rob-oNe87

Hi y'all.

we are at a cottage with free wifi!

all iPhones, iPads and MacBooks are fine and connected well.

my Windows 10 dell xps, does not want to load the login page where I need to input the password.

I don't remember what the error message at the bottom said first but it changed and now it says "err-unsafe-port"

Hope anyone can help. Thanks!

Seems like that browser doesn't like random ports. Can you try Google Chrome/Firefox

As Sir Asvald says it might the port thing.

Could it be because you are logging in from an unknown source?

If someone had stolen your stuff they'd be experiencing the same as you are now.

Do you have more robust security on this particular device?

That's the WiFI portal he/she is connecting to. Microsoft Edge/Chrome Block unknow ports..
