Today I decided to switch from my faithful i5 6600k to a ryzen 5 5600x. Went to memory express and they allegedly did a quickmount for my new cpu with a msi b550 tomahawk. Went home, went through the process of it all as I have in the past. My specs are:

-Ryzen 5 5600x

-msi tomahawk

-16gb (4x4) ddr4 2400mhz

-gtx 1060 6gb

-coolermaster 750w psu

When I power on the pc it just doesn't do anything. I triple checked my case pins and looked at the manual, made sure my psu power supply was plugged in. Reseat my memory, tried using a single stick of memory, made sure the cpu fan was in, plugged in the pc and set the psu to the on position, made sure all USB headers etc were in and still nothing. When I press the power button it sort of has that oh power is about to go through moment but nothing flashes, blinks, moves, etc. The only thing I didn't try is updating the bios with a USB, since I have no access to a 3000 series ryzen. Any thoughts?
