Hello. I am experiencing crashing when I try to install drivers, or it just happens randomly.  My screen goes black, then it either restarts or I get a “diagnosing your pc” and get the windows recovery screen. Sometimes it can just stay black too. If anyone would be kind enough to help me, I can provide screenshots and answers to any question.

I am fairly confident it is not the GPU, since I tested and swapped it and it did not change anything. I have not seen any issues with the motherboard battery too. Ram seems okay, tried using 1 stick with both.

I’m thinking that the motherboard would be the issue.

I have good cooling on all of my component and case, except for my CPU which has the stock cooler.

Note : I noticed that sometimes the gpu fans stop spinning while the computer is on, is this normal?

I made my own pc, and it is obviously my first one.

Specs :

Windows 10 Pro

Ryzen 5 3600  (with stock cooler)

EVGA GeForce RTX 3060

B550M DS3H

Antec HCG750 Gold

Crucial P5 M.2 1TB

Crucial Ballistix Gaming Memory 16GB

Well, unexpected crashes, pretty sure they started before the driver installation, but they cause crashes too. I am thinking of replacing the motherboard and seeing how it goes. I bouht a fairly cheap motherboard and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the issue.
